Albert Park-South Melbourne Rowing Club is a not-for-profit community sports club which relies on membership fees and donations for the upkeep of running costs. We currently have three fundraising projects in progress: 1. Equipment Enhancement 2. Facilities Upgrade 3. Heritage Conservation The Equipment Enhancement Project required funds to update and enhance our ageing fleet with the purchase of new boats. The Facilities Upgrade is a longer term project to re-design the upstairs space to include a gymnasium and disabled access. The Heritage Conservation Project targets the Club's collection of memorabilia, which needs conservation and archival storage materials to protect it for future generations. Tax Deductible Donations Tax deductible donations are possible through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) for the Equipment Enhancement Project. Albert Park South Melbourne Rowing Club is seeking your help to raise $80K to purchase new rowing equipment to complement its aging fleet. Rowing equipment is expensive and the club's current resources do not allow for the upgrade to new equipment on a regular basis.
