APSMRC has a large number of rowers with differing capability from competitive through to beginners and others more interested in social rowing.  Our competitive rowers regularly compete at regattas in Victoria as well as at State and National competitions.  

Our competitive squads are made up of rowers who are interested in competing in regattas. Crews are organised and put together by our coaches based on skill and commitment to training times. Crews can also be formed by choice or self selection.

Club coaching is provided for the regular squad training times outlined below. Additional coaching can also be arranged by private arrangement.

•    Sunday morning 7:30am – 10.00am

Everyone that joins our club is able to compete at regattas in Australia.  We aim to support our beginners and new members through a Development Squad which involves training at least twice a week on a regular basis in order to improve skill levels.  

Development Squad Times

• Tuesday and Thursday 5:30pm –7:30pm

The club actively encourages and supports participation at all regattas.
