Albert Park-South Melbourne Rowing Club is a not-for-profit community sports club which relies on membership fees and donations for the upkeep of running costs.

We currently have three fundraising projects in progress:  

1. Equipment Enhancement

2. Facilities Upgrade

3. Heritage Conservation.

The Equipment Enhancement Project required funds to update and enhance our ageing fleet with the purchase of new boats.

The Facilities Upgrade is a longer term project to re-design the upstairs space to include a gymnasium and disabled access. 

The Heritage Conservation Project targets the Club's collection of memorabilia, which needs conservation and archival storage materials to protect it for future generations.

Tax Deductible Donations

Tax deductible donations are possible through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) for the Equipment Enhancement Project.

Albert Park South Melbourne Rowing Club is seeking your help to raise $80K to purchase new rowing equipment to complement its aging fleet.  Rowing equipment is expensive and the club's current resources do not allow for the upgrade to new equipment on a regular basis. All money donated to this fund will be applied to purchase new equipment for the club.

The aim of the APSM Equipment Enhancement Project is to: 

• Provide funding for the incremental replacement of the club’s essential rowing equipment. 
• Allow us to adequately cater for our current athletes. 
• Provide a base to allow APSM to work towards the future development of junior, senior and masters programs. 
• Provide a focus to take the club forward into the 21^st century and beyond.
