Development (DEV) Squad

The Development (DEV) Squad at APSMRC provides amateur rowers with the opportunity to develop their skills through coached crew sessions.

DEV Squad is geared towards those who are returning to row after a period of time away from the sport, or coming directly out of the Learn To Row programmes.

Our aim is to provide a continuous learning environment where the focus is on improvement of skill and confidence in the boat.

Members can choose to row recreationally or look towards competing in regattas.

Coaching is conducted in crews of up to 8 people, emphasising the importance of teamwork, commitment and the enjoyment that comes with rowing as a crew.

Requirements

• Completed our Learn To Row programme or have joined the Club as a new member 
• Current adult APSMRC membership
• Commit to 2 training sessions week (days and times will be determined based on coaches' availability)

Attendance

You are required to attend all sessions as arranged.
